Support groups give survivors, caregivers and others a chance to bond with those going through similar health struggles. Listed below are support groups available at MacNeal Hospital. Contact each group for more information:

Breast Cancer Support Group

MacNeal Hospital, South Building, Basement, Room A/A1 (next to cafeteria).

A meeting space for patients, survivors and their loved ones. For information, call Sylvia Fraser Kain, RN, BSN, at 708-783-2106. This meeting takes place the third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm.

Stroke Support Group

MacNeal Hospital, North Building, Acute Rehabilitation Unit, 2nd floor Conference Room

For stroke survivors, families, caregivers and friends. Open to patients and community members.
Join in our conversation of hope, education, support, and ideas about surviving a stroke. Group meets every third Tuesday of each month from 4 – 5 pm. For more information contact Julie VeSota at Julie.Vesota@luhs.org
